A typical fisherman’s house built on the walls of the old town, 28 rue Coste Corail stands on four levels on a plot of 40 m2.
On the ground floor, a beautiful living room with very high ceilings, with exposed beams and battens, is a former stable for the donkeys which once helped transport fishing nets and goods. A large dresser occupies the place of the old manger while a perfectly equipped U-shaped kitchen allows you to prepare meals for large tables. A monastery table with extensions can accommodate up to twelve guests in a very warm atmosphere. A library, a large television screen and comfortable armchairs make this room a warm and friendly place.
The bedrooms are on the first and second floors, while on the third a second, smaller kitchen allows you to prepare lighter meals to eat on the very sunny and flowery terrace or in the very bright sloping workshop on the top floor.
Two atmospheres, two parts that can be used independently to the point of ensuring a certain independence for the different occupants.
While the original spirit has been preserved, with the old terracotta floor tiles as common thread, this charming fisherman’s house was completely redone in 2022 to offer all the comfort and a personalized contemporary design, in a harmony of colors ranging from “strong white” to graphite via verdigris and hot sand.
Entirely non-smoking house. Animals are not allowed.
